I believe that identifying and setting an intention for what we want helps us move toward our goals. At times, the world is moving so fast that we wait until decisions are right in front of us to make a choice. Sometimes, elements of our upbringing or our current circumstances can act as a roadblock to achieving our purpose. I help clients identify discrepancies between their goals and their actions and support them in closing the gap.
Intentionality is filtering out patterns that no longer serve us. It is seeking authenticity and connection. It is building on habits that lead us where we want to go. It is not something we innately have; it is something we choose to practice. There are many reasons why someone may seek therapy. Whatever the catalyst, the space we create will be one of compassion, curiosity, and care.
